Roderick Centell Booker joined LifePoint Church as Lead Pastor in November, 2019. Born to Esther Booker in Jackson, MS, he accepted Christ at age 17, and was baptized in 2000, at the Greater Mt. Baker Missionary Baptist Church.
Pastor Booker is a graduate of Franklin High School; he earned his B.A. in Sociology from the University of Washington, and received his Master’s in Theology and Culture from Northwest University. He is husband to Rosa, and father to Joshua and Emme Lee. He works as a College and Career Access Specialist at Evergreen High School and Head JV girls’ basketball coach.
Mike has been on staff at Lifepoint since 2011. He lead the kids ministry prior to his current role as Associate Pastor.
Mike is a husband to his wife Angie and father to his Daughter Mallory. They also are foster parents to Jazmyn and Amagine.
By Vocation, Mike is the Director of Training for ACT Holdings. Mike's has Certifications from Christian Counseling Education Foundation in Biblical Counseling and is a certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner for 6 Seconds. Counseling people and helping them grow in Christ is Mikes' passion in life.
Bill and his wife, Lori, have been attending LifePoint for 15 years. They have been married 40 years. Along with Chairing the Guiding board, he also leads our sound tech ministry, set up team and is an all around handy man.
Richard has been a member of LifePoint for over 6 years. He's been a Christian since he was 8 years old and has been involved with Church ever since. He has been married to his lovely wife, Amanda, since August 4, 2012.
Richard works at Google on Maps as a project manager, he has worked at Google since May 2013. He enjoys reading science fiction and fantasy novels, along with an occasional mystery or thriller. He also plays video games and weather permitting, he likes to hike our scenic NW mountain trails.
Vandy Laurie has been a long time member of LifePoint and resident of Renton. She and her husband, Norm, recently relocated to Ravensdale, WA. In addition to serving on the board, she also plays the keyboard as a member of the Music Ministry Team.
She enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring new places on foot with her husband of 41 years. Any free time is spent with her three grown children, their spouses and eleven grand children (including a set of triplets!).
Charlie met his wife, Ann while working at a restaurant in Wisconsin in 1979. They became Christians through the Campus Crusade for Christ ministry at the university they attended. Married in 1981, They lived in Wisconsin, then Illinois, then back to Wisconsin for 17 years until 2010 when a job change brought them out to Washington. Their 3 children are adults now. Ann enjoys working on the landscaping around their home and quilting. Charlie rides a Gold Wing as often as possible between house projects and his job. They have been attending Lifepoint since 2015.
